The 2nd edition of Ecran Noir took place from May 30 to June 6, 1998, in Yaoundé at the L'ABBIA cinema and the Hilton Hotel, and in Douala from June 1 to 7, 1998, at the LE WOURI cinema and the CCF (French Cultural Center, now IFC).
